A Sharon man is facing more than 50 drug-related charges stemming from a recent drug bust.

According to court records, 19-year-old Ty'erre Smith is charged with 55 counts total, including 27 counts of possession of a controlled substance and 28 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

These charges were filed on Tuesday, February 10 after a probation search at a home on the 1000 block of George Street Extension, according to a criminal complaint.

When police got to the home, a probation agent took officers to the basement of the home, where Smith was handcuffed on the floor. Police say there was a bag containing a rocky white substance with loose white powder at the edge of the bed, as well as a digital scale.

Additionally, police say there was a live bullet on the bed. According to the complaint, Smith is not allowed to possess firearms or ammunition because he is on probation.

A full search of the home revealed several items, including:

- A bag of suspected cocaine

- Assorted bags of cannabis packaging

- A digital scale

- One live bullet

- A Glock slide back plate

- A box of Blazer ammunition

- Assorted rifle and pistol ammo

In reference to the assorted bags of cannabis packaging, police say there were 26 bags, with most having suspected marijuana residue inside and others having a white powder residue inside.

Smith was arraigned on Tuesday, February 10, and is due back in court on February 20 for a preliminary hearing.
