Valley agency awards $1k to Hubbard Library
Every year, the fund gives up to $1,000 to projects that combat antisemitism and all forms of hate.

HUBBARD - An agency of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation has donated $1,000 to the Hubbard Library.
According to a release, the Jewish Community Relations Council awarded the library to "purchase books that combat antisemitism."
The donation was made possible through the Andrew L. Lipkin Tikkun Olam Fund, which was established in honor of Andrew Lipkin, a former CEO of the Federation.
Every year, the fund gives up to $1,000 to projects that combat antisemitism and all forms of hate.
Nonprofit organizations within the Mahoning or Shenango Valleys that are interested in applying for the award can find more information here. The annual deadline to apply is January 15.
