After a one-day reprieve from sub-freezing conditions, our area is back below 32. But not for long!

These conditions will also be supplemented by the chance of lake-enhanced snowflakes through the first half today. Highs will be in the mid-to-upper 20s, slightly below average.

After Thursday’s snow, a several-day stretch of dry weather will ensue. Partly cloudy skies will ease throughout the day on Friday, turning to sunny skies late. Highs will be in the low-to-mid 30s.

Love will be in the air on Valentine’s Day this Saturday, and so will be a mixture of sun and clouds. High temperatures will rise above average into the 40s, making the day a great one for those looking to get outdoor plans done or simply take in Mother Nature.

Clouds will fill in the gaps on Sunday. A system packed with rain will squeak to our south, barely getting us out of any chance for rain. Instead, it will be a mainly cloudy day, especially for those South of Youngstown.

Presidents’ Week will kick off on a mild, dry note. Partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day, with high temperatures in the mid-40s.

Our next chance for precipitation will come by Tuesday night. We’re not too sure of any specifics as of now, though this rain could come at a time of very mild temperatures, with highs on Tuesday and Wednesday potentially eclipsing 50 degrees.
