New Castle man pleads guilty in connection to cocaine trafficking operation

A man from New Castle, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty in a federal court on February 12, 2026, to charges of federal narcotics and firearm law violations, according to a news release.
Daniel Feliciano, 49, pleaded guilty to six counts.
The Court was told that between October 2022 and March 2024, Feliciano conspired with others to distribute cocaine in the Western Pennsylvania area, more specifically in the New Castle area, from Puerto Rico.
In addition to pleading guilty to distributing and possession with intent to distribute cocaine on three different dates, Feliciano also pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and in furtherance of his drug trafficking crimes.
In the news release, it is outlined that Feliciano's New Castle home was raided by law enforcement, where the following was discovered by agents:
- About 150 grams of cocaine and cocaine base
- Multiple digital scales that contained residue of cocaine
- An assortment of drug packaging materials
- Nearly $2,000 in cash
- Three cellphones
- Three firearms
- Over 2,400 rounds of various calibers of ammunition and loaded and unloaded magazines
Previously, Feliciano was convicted of aggravated assault in Puerto Rico in 2002 and was sentenced to two years in prison.
The law provides for a maximum total sentence between five years and life in prison, a fine of up to $5 million or both.
The actual sentencing will be imposed based on the seriousness of the crime and of the offenses and prior criminal history, if any is present.
Feliciano was one of 17 defendants, including members from Lawrence County and Mahoning County. He was the last of the defendants to plead guilty.
