A stretch of Mahoning Avenue, located in Jackson Township, closed on Monday and will remain closed for several weeks.

Mahoning Avenue between Route 45 and Rosemont Road closed on Monday for the installation of a 20-foot by 6-foot concrete box culvert.

The installation is a part of the Mahoning Avenue Industrial Corridor Upgrade Project.

In total, the closure is expected to last 67 days.

The listed detour for motorists is Mahoning Avenue to State Route 45 to Route 224 to State Route 534.
