Giant Eagle pharmacy to open in former Greenville Rite Aid on Thursday

GREENVILLE, Pa. - Giant Eagle will open its newly located pharmacy in the former Greenville Rite Aid building on Main Street on Thursday, February 18.
The pharmacy will open its doors to the public at 8 a.m. Thursday, and will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., where it will make a $2,500 donation to the Mercer County Food Bank.
Additionally, the Pittsburgh Pirates' parrot mascot will be at the store from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In addition to continuing to meet the prescription needs of the Greenville community, the pharmacy will also offer a variety of health, beauty and wellness products, as well as a selection of prepared foods, produce and groceries.
The existing pharmacy at 419 Main Street will close its doors to the public at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18. All prescription information will automatically be transferred to the new location at 335 Main Street.
The store will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and the pharmacy section will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays.
