Ohio EPA investigating fuel leak in East Palestine

EAST PALESTINE - Emergency crews are on scene of what is being called a fuel leak in East Palestine.
According to a Facebook post by the Village of East Palestine, an above ground diesel storage tank leaked and the fuel began to spread.
The post by the Village states that the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and contractors would be on site for a cleanup effort.
A 21 News crew member said they could see several vehicles gathered on East Martin Street.
East Palestine Fire Department told 21 News they were investigating the matter around 5 p.m.. SInce then, they said the Ohio EPA has been leading the investigation.
The Village's post states, "the site is under control and being worked on."
