SALINEVILLE, Ohio - The closure of a portion of State Route 164 that runs through the Village of Salineville originally set to start next week has been rescheduled.

The 40-day closure of SR-164 in Salineville just south of SR-39 was scheduled to start on Tuesday, March 3. However, the closure has since been delayed to Monday, March 9, due to weather conditions.

During the closure period, the detour rout will be State Route 524 North to State Route 39 East, State Route 39 East to State Route 164, and reverse.

The roadway will reopen by Friday, May 22, but the project will not be complete until Friday, July 31.
