Back to winter we go this weekend

Temperatures by the end of our Friday will be just a hair colder than when you stepped out the door on Friday morning.
A couple of spotty showers will try to mix in with some wet snowflakes before the end of the day, and shortly after sunset, winds will gust to 45 mph into the early part of the evening. A few flurries will be around after sunset through about midnight, and it will stay rather breezy early in the evening before winds die down after midnight.
Saturday will start with plenty of cloud cover; however, there could be some peaks of sunshine from time to time, especially the farther south you travel through the area. Saturday will be cooler than the previous days this week, with high temperatures only rising to the low 40s. Expect a few flurries overnight with temperatures dropping to the upper 20s into Sunday morning.
Flurries and light snow showers will be around for much of the day on Sunday, adding up to an inch or less of accumulation, mainly on non-paved surfaces. Temperatures on Sunday will peak in the low to mid-30s and then drop to the low to mid-20s by Monday morning.
Flurries and light snow showers will remain widespread overnight into Monday morning, then taper off in the second half of the day.
Temperatures stay on the colder side on Tuesday, with high temperatures matching Monday's high temperatures, reaching the low 30s.
Wednesday will feature snow working in early in the day and then mixing over to rain later in the afternoon. Rain is trending likely Wednesday night, into early Thursday morning, before tapering off early in the day on Thursday.
