The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce finalized an affiliation agreement that took effect in January. It expands on programming, advocacy and member services in Columbiana while preserving its local governance.

According to the agreement, the Columbiana Chamber will retain control of its policy, budget, long-term direction and will receive Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber staff support.

The Columbiana Chamber board will continue to identify and direct local priorities, while its members have access to programs that target businesses with 10 or fewer employees, and government affairs, infrastructure for regional, state and national policy issues.

Established programs will continue with event support from the Regional Chamber.

Zach King, the executive director of the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce, explained that the affiliation allows them to deliver more value for businesses in the Columbiana Area.

"For our members, this affiliation keeps decision-making local while adding resources, stronger connections and capacity to serve the business community," King said.

The president and CEO of the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, Guy Coviello, believes the affiliation will open the door to new connections and opportunities among both organizations.

"We're proud to partner with the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce in a way that strengthens both organizations," Coviello said.

Expanded programs are expected later in 2026, including:

  • Salute to Elected Officials in Columbiana
  • Good Evening, Columbiana!
  • A Power Lunch
  • A Mahoning Valley Young Professionals Mixer
