Another stabbing reported at Youngstown prison

Another inmate has been stabbed in a Youngstown prison on the morning of Tuesday, February 24.
According to a police report from YPD, an inmate was found inside his cell with multiple stab wounds on his back just before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police say he was stabbed earlier that morning around 6:30.
Police say surveillance footage shows three inmates enter the victim's cell, followed by blood on the victim's clothing, followed by him changing his clothes after the other inmates leave.
Facility staff were unable to find the weapon used in the attack, according to the report.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Several stabbings have been reported at CoreCivic over the course of multiple years. Just last week, another stabbing was reported at CoreCivic, allegedly stemming from a fight over food.
