The Newton Falls school district is adding four varsity sports over the next two school years.

 These additions are part of a continued effort to provide diverse and inclusive opportunities for the entire student body.

Upcoming Launch Schedule:

  • Spring 2026: Girls Flag Football

  • Winter 2026-27: Bowling, Wrestling, and Esports

The introduction of these programs reflects a commitment to ensuring that every student at Newton Falls has a dedicated space to compete, grow, and represent the Tiger community. By expanding the athletic portfolio, the district aims to reach a wider range of student interests and foster a stronger sense of belonging for all athletes.

A primary goal of this expansion is to ensure that Newton Falls students have access to top-tier athletic and extracurricular opportunities without needing to look outside the district. By providing these programs at home, the school is dedicated to keeping our talented students in Newton Falls and giving them every reason to remain a part of the Tiger family throughout their high school careers.
