A counseling service hosted a grand reopening on Monday, March 2, celebrating its expansion of services into a new area.

Cadence Care Network, which has a location in Boardman and one in Niles, celebrated a grand reopening of its Boardman location. There, guests got to tour the newly expanded facility and meet the team.

The reopening, according to a news release outlining the event, marked a new chapter in the agency's mission to provide therapy services to children in need and their families.

Additionally, the reopening allowed Cadence Care Network the opportunity to reconnect with community leaders and partners to share its growth.

"What we've decided to do is, because of need, the whole country's been in a mental health crisis for kids over the last six, seven years, so we've seen an increase in referrals for therapy programs," said Matt Kresic, the CEO of Cadence Care Network.

Kresic says that the expansion into the upstairs office spaces of the Boardman location will help them see more people in need in one day.

Additionally, Kresic says that staff are available to see clients on-site or through a home visit.

"We offer a lot of community-based therapy out of this building, where our therapists actually do go out into the community and do work with families, and then we have office space therapy as well that is here for kids to come and talk to a counselor and have their needs met that way," said Kresic.

Those in need of help are encouraged to call Cadence Care Network's main line: 888-345-3340. Additional numbers to specific offices and departments can also be found on the agency's "Contact Us" page.

"Our hope is that we can really help kids thrive, help kids and families succeed, and that is our goal," said Kesic.

The Boardman office can be found at 4822 Market Street in Suite 300. The Niles office is located at 165 East Park Avenue.
