Several Valley parishes to participate in annual evening of reconciliation

YOUNGSTOWN - The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is encouraging folks to attend the annual Evening of Reconciliation at their local parish on the evening of Wednesday, March 4.
Several parishes in all three Mahoning Valley counties will participate in the annual "The Light Is On For You - An Evening of Reconciliation" event on Wednesday evening.
While the Sacrament of Reconciliation, more commonly known as confession or penance, is celebrated throughout the Lenten season and the entire year, the Diocese has identified Wednesday, March 4, as a common date when the Sacrament will be available in parishes through a variety of services or individually.
