BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Around one dozen fire departments were on the scene of a barn fire on State Route 45 in Bristol Township on Wednesday evening.
Champion Fire tells 21 News that when crews arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m., heavy flames and smoke could be seen coming out of the roof of the barn.
Due to the lack of nearby hydrants, multiple tankers were requested to help put out the blaze.
All animals inside the barn during the fire, around 10 cows, did not survive. No people were injured.
The barn has been deemed uninhabitable.
As crews worked to clear the scene, Painseville Warren State Road between Housel Craft Road and Nelson Lane was closed, but it has since reopened.
It is unknown at this time what caused the fire.
