Reward offered for information on starved, dead dog found in Warren

The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project is offering a reward for information regarding an abandoned, deceased dog found inside its doghouse in Warren.
President Jason Cooke told 21 News he received a call from the Animal Welfare League regarding an animal abandonment complaint on Linden Avenue in Warren.
The caller alleged that the dog had been abandoned by the previous tenants at the location.
Cooke discovered the deceased dog curled up inside the dog box, with no food or water present. The emaciated dog is believed to have starved to death, according to Cooke.
Images of the dead dog wearing a bright pink collar can be found on Cooke's Facebook page, but WARNING: the images attached to the link are disturbing to view.
Cooke says animal cruelty charges will be filed upon completion of an investigation into this matter, and he is asking if anyone knows anything about the dog or its owners to contact him at 234-855-5847.
