Kinsman Township - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is asking the public for comment on a proposed replacement of a bridge in Kinsman Township.

On State Route 5, the bridge being replaced is hovering over a stream between Burnett East Road and State Route 7.

A release states that though the bridge is near the Shenango Wildlife area, no impacts to the property are anticipated. However, minor impacts are expected to hit streams and wetlands.

Drivers traveling along State Route 5 will be detoured for up to 21 days during construction to replace the bridge.

Construction is scheduled to start this fall and is anticipated to be completed by late 2027.
