The Mahoning County Bar Association Foundation is accepting scholarship applications for students in the Valley region who are applying to or are currently enrolled in law school.

According to a news release from the Mahoning County Bar Association (MCBA), scholarships range between $1,000 to $2,000. The money would be directly paid to the recipient's respective school if awarded.

Applications must be received by May 16, 2026.

The foundation strongly prefers applications to be sent through email, but mailed-in copies are accepted.

The completed application and a transcript from the most recent semester of school can be sent to rmkenneally@mahoningbar.org or the administrator email address provided at the bottom of the application form.

For applications sent through the mail, the MCBA is located at 114 East Front Street in Youngstown.

The Mahoning County Bar Association Foundation is a non-profit organization that is funded by members of the MCBA. The organization consists of lawyers who practice in Mahoning County.
