A man has been found guilty of all eight counts that he was originally indicted for, stemming from an incident in 2024.

According to a news release, Kelly Paul Wiseman, 52, has been found guilty of four counts of felonious assault, two of which are first-degree felonies and two of which are second-degree felonies, one count of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation or school safety zone (F2), one count of discharge of a firearm on or near prohibited premises (F3), one count of tampering with evidence (F3) and one count of aggravated menacing (M1).

Charges stem from a July 2024 incident where Wiseman was involved in an ongoing dispute with his neighbors.

During this incident, Wiseman threatened the victims, telling them, "You're the next target," according to the release.

The victims reported the threat to the police.

When officers were speaking with the victims, Wiseman fired several gunshots. Body camera footage from officers on the scene captured one bullet passing close to an officer's head, audible from the camera.

Wiseman will be sentenced at a later date.

Assistance Prosecutors Kyle Hilles and Edward Walsh prosecuted this case on behalf of the Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office.

Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro, in the release, credits the Milton Township Police Department and both assistant prosecutors for their work in securing a conviction.
