YOUNGSTOWN - Lit Youngstown is hosting a writing workshop series this spring for adults who are experiencing grief.

Participants can take part in group poetry readings, peer-led discussions, thought-provoking prompts and the opportunity to share work.

The sessions will be led by Alex Abruzzi, a Youngstown State University instructor who graduated from there with a bachelor's and master's degree in English.

The group will meet in person from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Girard Free Library on Thursdays from April 2 to May 14. The only exception is Thursday, April 16.

The sessions are free and open to the public. Registration is required to attend. You can register by clicking here.
