Owners still searching for cat missing from home deemed 'total loss' in Girard

GIRARD - More than one month after a fire completely destroyed a home in Girard, the homeowners still have hope that a cat that has been missing since the blaze is still out there.
Local non-profit Compassionate Paws, which searches for missing pets throughout Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties, is offering a $1,000 reward for a cat that has been missing from a home at the corner of W. Second Street and Jones Court in Girard since Februrary 11.
The cat is missing from a home that was declared a total loss after a fire on February 11. All occupants made it out safely, but Compassionate Paws says a cat was missing.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for anyone who can find the missing cat (pictured above). If you see it, you're asked to call or text a picture to 330-333-2516 or 234-228-5427.
