A Howland woman will have 25 years to think about why she embezzled more than a million dollars from a Boardman dialysis clinic.
That is the sentence Deborah Toda received this morning. She previously plead guilty to grand theft, forgery, money laundering, and corrupt activity.
A judge also ordered her to repay the 1-point-6 million dollars. Some of that restitution was raised in January when some of the items she purchased were sold at an auction.
Toda could spend even more time in prison if authorities decide she violated terms of federal probation.
In 2001, she was sentenced to 30 months in prison for embezzling 400-thousand dollars from a Niles company.
