Gun Thefts Worry Attorney General

Four recent gun store break-ins have Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann of Liberty offering his help.
At least 65 weapons have been stolen from three Valley businesses, including Miller Rod and Gun in Boardman, Midwest Guns in Liberty and Buckeye Firearms in Columbiana County.
"We're very concerned about the issues of gun robberies going on in this community," says Dann. "To the extent that if the local prosecutor and police call us in, we'd be happy to provide BCI agents to intensify the search. We have great access to databases through our oleg system, we have ability through our forensic lab to run down the evidence and the trace evidence and fingerprints and so forth."
Boardman Police, Liberty Police and the Columbiana Sheriff's Department are working with the ATF and the FBI on the gun store break-ins.
