The spirit of Italian culture captured in bronze will mark an important milestone for a local church.
The sculpture, named, "The Italian Immigrant, a Symbol of the Spirit," will be dedicated in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel's 100th anniversary in 2008.
A local artist created the life-sized statue to be displayed on church grounds. The tribute was made possible through the support of the Lariccia family.
