Question:  My gas meter is mounted on front of my house, just to the side of my front door. Very ugly! I had an evergreen planted in front of it, but it grew too large for the gas company to read the meter and it had to be removed. I would like to put something (other than a plant or bush) in front of the meter. I would love to put a large rock in front of it, but that would be difficult to move if the meter would need service. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer:  Depending on the height of the meter,  we have some artificial stone that are in the vicinity of 30 to 36" of height.  These are very real looking

And are light weight easy to handle.  They are secured to the ground with stakes and can have some soil put around it.  With this in place you

Can then plant 3 or 4 low ground cover type plants around it to create a finished look.
