Youngstown Man Faces Charges for Liberty High Stabbing

The father of Liberty High School's star running back is jailed on 50-thousand dollars bond.
46-year-old Fitzgerald Toussaint is accused of stabbing his ex-wife's boyfriend at the school during a football scrimmage.
Toussaint appeared in Girard Court today on a felonious assault charge for stabbing 45-year-old Darnell Harris in the chest just after 11-thirty Saturday morning.
But new information could result in additional charges according to Liberty Police Chief Rich Tisone.
He tells 21 News, "We have one person charged as of right now. We did have two weapons at the scene that were both confiscated as evidence. And we are looking in to it. And there are conflicting reports and possibly there may be other charges or a charge on the victim as well. We don't know at this point."
Chief Tisone says that this is clearly an isolated incident and it will be up to the school board to decide if security is now needed for future football scrimmages.
