Valley congressman talks about gun control

WARREN, Ohio - Mass killing sprees like those that happened at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. and a movie theatre in Aurora, Colo. have heightened America's debate over gun control.
On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan met with 13 area law enforcement agencies including the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office, Warren Police Department, Niles Police Department and the TAG Law Enforcement Task Force.
Ryan says he wants to make sure everything is on the table in the gun control debate and first responders have an important voice.
"I've been a strong advocate of the second amendment and this has been a great opportunity for me to sit down with people from different police departments in my congressional district," the congressman told reporters "In the next week or two, we'll be meeting with advocates of the second amendment just to get everything on the table as to where people stand on this issue."
He says one thing that everyone can agree on is that we can't tolerate more mass killings, especially in places like schools and movie theatres.
