Two 21-year-old men from Youngstown are in the Mahoning County Jail following their arrest as suspects for Wednesday's holdup of the Taco Bell restaurant on Youngstown Poland Road.

Kalilo Robinson and Jayquan McMullen are each charged with robbery.  

Youngstown, Struthers, and Boardman police were called out after Taco Bell employees reported that they were robbed by two armed men wearing masks and gloves who were. Police say that the employees were forced to the ground as two men pointed their guns at them. 

According to police, the suspects then emptied the cash registers and the safe. The two suspects then fled westbound on Wakefield Avenue. 

Police chased a white SUV fitting the description of the getaway vehicle to 10th Street in Struthers where one of the suspects holding a handgun jumped out and ran.

Officers searched the area and arrested Robinson near 9th Street and Midlothian Boulevard.

Police found a stolen handgun in the back of the car.  The other gun was found in a driveway on Lincoln Street.

McMullen, who police say was driving the SUV is also charged with failing to obey a police order.
