YOUNGSTOWN - A woman who pleaded guilty for the role she played in a Youngstown murder was sentenced Thursday.

That woman, Rebecca Perez, was given two years of probation.

She was charged with obstruction of justice.

Perez turned herself in after driving a man to a home on Youngstown's Northside who allegedly shot and killed a woman in her Goleta Avenue home in 2018.

That man, 51-year-old Jesse Williams, is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
