Power outage in Hermitage leaves 1,500 in the dark

HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania - About 15-hundred homes and businesses in Hermitage lost electricity for about a half hour on Friday.

HERMITAGE, Pennsylvania - About 15-hundred homes and businesses in Hermitage lost electricity for about a half hour on Friday.

A traffic accident at about 1:00 p.m. caused a transformer to blow up behind the Big Lot's on State Street.

Emergency crews were on the scene to contain oil that leaked from the transformer.
