Volunteers in Salem offer free Thanksgiving dinner

SALEM, Ohio - For twenty years, the community of Salem has come together to make sure everyone can have a Thanksgiving dinner.
One 150 volunteers gave up time with their own families to cook, serve and deliver dinners to the community, regardless of need.
For two decades local families have kept the tradition going.
It's not hosted by any particular group, just local volunteers who spend their morning helping others.
"We fill to-go orders for people to deliver to their homes and we serve up in the dining room people that come here to eat," said Jeff Schoch, the Salem Thanksgiving Dinner co-chair. "It's one day, it's probably the biggest project I'm ever involved in, but it's so much fun."
This year volunteers served a record number of dinners, with over 600.
