NILES, Ohio - A judge has ordered counseling as part of the sentence for a Niles woman who police say was nude in public, then screamed obscenities at officers who arrested her.

Katrina Flowers appeared in Niles Municipal Court on Wednesday, where she was found guilty on reduced charges of assault, vandalism and resisting arrest.

She was originally charged with more serious violations, including assault on a police officer when she was arrested last month near the Eastwood Mall.

Police released surveillance video which shows Flowers standing naked in front of a police cruiser, and later kicking the window out of the cruiser.

Flowers fought with the ambulance crew until she was sedated.

Police believe the incident was caused by a synthetic drug like bath salts or Flakka that can cause the body temperature to spike.

The following day, Flowers had another run-in with the law.

In addition to the court ordered counseling, Flowers was sentenced to 40 days in jail and was fined $650.
