YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown fire crews were able to quickly respond and put out a fire on the city's south side Tuesday night.

Just after 9 p.m., crews were called to a home on East Auburndale Avenue.

Officials said people live at the home but no one was there when the fire started.

Crews noted this home is not near the station that is currently closed because of budget constraints, which helped firefighters get there fast enough to contain the fire to the dining room.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
