AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County OVI Task Force conducted a checkpoint on Mahoning Avenue in Austintown Friday night. 

The checkpoint was from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. Officers say 667 vehicles passed through the checkpoint with 15 vehicles that were directed into the diversion area.

Officers say they made two arrests for OVI and one felony arrest for drug abuse. 

Authorities also issued three summonses for driving under suspension, one summons for no operator's license, one citation for adult restraint, one citation for child restraint, three summonses for lane usage and one citation for expired registration.

The Task Force will continue to conduct coordinated saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
