Valley Christian is coming off its first winning season in five years and a playoff year.
The Eagles are counting on their big offensive line to lead the way.
"Build around our lineman, we have all the lineman back. They're all about 6'5", which is actually big for this school. So that's what we are kind of building around," said co-head coach Jeff Hether
In all, the Eagles return eight on offense and six on defense and leading the way on both sides is Jordan Trowers.
"He's already had an offer from the Air Force Academy and Indiana State. He's like a quarterback in the secondary and Altwjaun Beck-Lindsey is another kid that's athletic helped us at linebacker and Terrell Walker is a big kid, the anchor on the defensive line." said co-coach Jomont Ware
The Eagles feel the tenacity of their lines is enough to overcome other weaknesses.
"I don't have any questions anywhere else because I think were decent. We're going to put a ton of load on those guys and they may not take it well, that's my questions for this year," said Hether
"We got to keep what we have to do what we can control. We can't control what's outside of our circles. So we keep the main thing the main thing, inside our circle, and I think we'll be okay." said Ware
The Eagles open the season at home on August 25th against Campbell.
