Two allegedly pistol-whipped during drug fight in Youngstown, man arrested
A Youngstown man is facing charges after allegedly pistol-whipping two men and holding one against his will on Wednesday night.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man is facing charges after allegedly pistol-whipping two men and holding one against his will on Wednesday night.
Youngstown Police say they were flagged down on Southern Boulevard by a group of individuals who said a man was being held against his will in a nearby apartment.
According to the police report, when officers arrived at the apartment complex one of the two victims told police he was pistol-whipped by 27-year-old Ramen Cooper. The victim advised police that Cooper was holding another victim against his will inside the apartment.
Officers knocked at the door until someone answered, matching the description of the second victim. Police say he appeared frightened and had an open wound on the side of his mouth.
The police report states everyone in the apartment exited and police began to question them. Cooper told police there was a fight over drug money. He alleged the victim attacked him first and they got into a fistfight. Cooper denied using or touching a firearm.
Officers say they searched the apartment and found two large bags of cocaine and heroin.
Police say they found two firearms in the apartment.
Cooper was arrested and has been charged with felonious assault and weapons under disability.
The police report did not indicate any charges filed related to the drugs found in the apartment.
