A water main break on Sheridan Road left some Youngstown residents without water Monday.

An employee of the Youngstown Water Department told 21 News that they did have to send a crew out to fix the break. He said that it should be fixed as of 6:30 pm Monday.

It is unknown at this time how many people were affected by the break. However, there were people without water for some time because crews had to shut off the main line to fix the break.

The water department employee said that everyone should have water back up and running now.

The break is thought to have been due to 'natural causes.'

There is no word if the residents affected are on a boil alert.

21 News will add an update if we find that a boil alert has been issued.
