Helicopters transport victims from New Castle motorcycle crash

Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash that shut down a street in New Castle Monday night.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - Two people were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash that shut down a street in New Castle Monday night.

The motorcycle and S-U-V collided along the 700 block of Highland Avenue, near Highland United Presbyterian Church just after 10 pm.

At least two victims were taken by ambulance to Jameson Hospital where two medical helicopters were waiting to transport them to another medical facility.

There's no word on the names or condition of the those injured.

New Castle Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
