YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A four-year-old Youngstown girl who is battling leukemia dreams were made after a couple of Valley organizations came together to help her go see PAW Patrol Live at the Covelli Centre.
The Hope Foundation of the Mahoning Valley in partnership with JAC Management Group LLC along with people from across the community helped Nya Decker have an experience of the lifetime.
Nya and her mother were gifted with front row tickets and backstage passes to meet the PAW Patrol crew.
“To be there and see Nya’s face light up and full of happiness was a memory I’ll never forget,” said Nya's mother, Brittany Decker.
The Vice President of JAC Management Group LLC, Ken Bigley, says that it is an honor to give a child like Nya an experience of a lifetime.
"We help people make memories all year long and it can be easy to forget how magical an experience like this can be for kids, so it's an honor to help give that experience to a child who has had to miss out on so much," said Ken Bigley, Vice President of JAC Management Group LLC.
Nya has childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is confined to home on most days as she undergoes an aggressive form of chemotherapy as part of her treatment.
