A court has ruled three dogs who attacked a Braceville township woman in 2018 are to be classified as "vicious."

As part of the Newton Falls municipal court ruling, the owner of the German shepards, David Hanson of Newton Falls, will have to confine the dogs in a locked pen or fence with a top.  Hanson will also have to get liability insurance for each dog for $100,000.

Rebecca Scofield says they dogs attacked her causing severe lacerations and nerve damage to her legs and ankle.

"I'm still not able to walk without assistance or drive or work. It's been horrible," said Scofield.

Hanson and his attorney declined to comment about the vicious designation other than to claim that Scofield will say, "whatever she wants to help her case" and that "she's asking for very large civil damages."
