MCDONALD, Ohio - McDonald teachers remain without a contract today after a failed mediation session that lasted for seven hours on Monday night.
A federal mediator was not enough to bring the McDonald Education Association (MEA) and the McDonald Board of Education to an agreement, although Staci Conley, MEA spokesperson, said that some progress was made.
The next mediation session between the groups has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 18.
The McDonald Board of Education is scheduled to meet Wednesday, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the McDonald High School Library.
