UAW Local 1112 members overwhelmingly reject proposed GM contract offer
UAW Local 1112 members have voted overwhelmingly to reject the tentative General Motors contract offer.
The Lordstown autoworkers voted on the issue at the union hall on Thursday.
Union members voted 412 against and 61 for the proposal.
The tentative agreement does not promise a new vehicle for the idled Lordstown Assembly Plant but does provide an assistance package for workers impacted by the closure.
