Harding Elementary holds annual pre-Thanksgiving meal

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Families made their way to Harding Elementary School in Youngstown for the fourth annual pre-Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday.
The family feast was held at 1:00 p.m. at the Cordova Avenue school.
"When I saw this quote, it sums up why we do this each year: 'When you Enter this Loving school, Consider yourself One of the special Members of an Extraordinary family,'" said Principal Teri Coward. "We want families to feel welcome and a part of our Harding family. Our scholars, staff, and family members look forward to this event each year."
Students ages preschool through eighth grade enjoyed turkey dinners provided by Save-A-Lot, Union Square, Giant Eagle Churchill Commons, and Giant Eagle on Doral Drive and Sparkle Market on South Avenue.
The Junior Civic League and the F.D. Mason Funeral Home both made monetary contributions to the event.
