The Howland Fire Department responded to a structure fire around 8:30 Wednesday evening.
The department says they arrived and the home was filled with smoke from an oven fire.
Fire officials say the home had to be ventilated, and the stove was removed to assist with the cleanup.
Crews had to disassemble the oven, shop-vac the burner, and reinstall the oven in the kitchen.
The homeowner was able to continue preparing her Thanksgiving meal after the work from the Howland fire crew.
