Cocktails-to-go aren't going away after Governor DeWine signed a bill to make them permanent.

House Bill 669 was signed Tuesday and allows restaurants, bars and other establishments to sell alcohol to go.

The establishments began selling alcohol to go while the stay-at-home order was in effect during the coronavirus pandemic.

Included in the bill are some guidelines - drinks must be purchased with food and a limit of three per order.

The bill also allows on-site drinking in parking lots and outdoor areas in close proximity to the establishment.

Delivery services can also deliver alcohol as long as they sign up with the state.
