Columbiana County Auditor's Office closing to the public starting Monday

LISBON, Ohio - Beginning Monday, November 30, the Columbiana County Auditor's Office will close to the general public until further notice.
Officials at the office cite a concern for COVID-19 and said they want to keep the health and well-being of the staff and public a priority.
Some documents and/or applications can be submitted by mail or by email.
As for dog licenses, people can send their application through the mail.
There is a return address envelope included with the application that they received.

People can also purchase dog licenses online here.
There are also other options to use a drop box located in the main hallway of the courthouse, and two outside agencies will be selling dog tags starting on December first.
These locations are Drug Mart on S.R. 45 in Lisbon and Hanoverton Hardware o S.R. 9 in Hanoverton.
As for deeds and transfers, there will be an inbox and outbox located beside the Auditor's door, which is also adjacent to the security station.
All documents must be in a sealed envelope, with any payment being made by check only and placed into the "In box."
When deeds are finished being processed, they will be put in the "Out box," or in the attorney's slot.
You are advised to call and let a staff member know when you are placing a deed in the "In box."
