Three dogs die in New Castle fire
When firefighters got there, they found flames coming from the first and second floors.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - Three dogs were found dead after a New Castle house fire Sunday afternoon, according to officials.
The fire broke out at a home along the 800 block of Franklin Avenue.
When firefighters got there, they found flames coming from the first and second floors. They had to work around live power wires that had fallen to put out the flames.
The family was not home at the time of the fire, but officials later found the three dogs. The family is now staying with relatives.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. At this point, officials do not believe it's suspicious.
