Car crashes through window at Shops at Boardman Park
Customers and employees were in the store. However, no one, including the driver was injured.
BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - A contractor is boarding up part of the Old Navy store after a car drove through a window in the Shops at Boardman Park.
Boardman Fire Cheif Mark Pitzer tells 21 News that a woman pushed the accelerator instead of the brake pedal shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday, sending the car into the store.
Pitzer says customers and employees were in the store. However, no one, including the driver was injured.
The building didn't sustain any structural damage and the store is expected to reopen when the window can be replaced.
