Canfield man accused of vandalizing auto parts store

CANFIELD TWP., Ohio - A 24-year-old Canfield man awaits another court appearance after being booked into the Mahoning County jail on a charge of vandalism.
Kristofer Studer was arrested Tuesday for damage done at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store on Boardman-Canfield Road on February 20th.
According to a county sheriff's investigator, the store manager found a broken window, spilled trash cans, and damaged signs in front of the building.
In addition, tires were slashed, and side-view mirrors were broken on both company trucks.
Deputies say surveillance video showed the suspect had arrived in a white ford hatchback with a white stripe that is similar to the vehicle driven by Studer.
The store manager told investigators that Studer had been a customer at the business.
The next court hearing for Studer is scheduled for March 19.
