McDonald, who entering today, hadn't reached the final four since 1991...looked comfortable on the big stage at University of Dayton Arena, where they defeated Waterford 57-29.

A pure display of dominance, especially on defense.  The Blue Devils outscored the Wildcats 13-2 in the opening quarter.

Waterford went more than 10 minutes between its first and second field goals, and trailed 25-5 with 3:30 to go in the first half.

McDonald walked into the locker room with a 16 point lead and just 16 minutes separating them from a trip to the Division four finale.

Tony Matisi's team doubled that lead by third quarter's end, and heading into the final frame...the Blue Devils led 49-17.

McDonald added eight points in the final frame and would go on to win 57-29.

Molly Howard totaled a game-high 21 points and 12 rebounds, Sophia Costantino racked up 15, and Maddy Howard poured in 11.

McDonald will move on to Saturday's finale where they'll meet Fort Loramie in a 10:45 a.m. tipoff
